Overexploitation, including illegal killing, capture and trade, is one of the most important factors in the global extinction of birds. Wildlife crime is a significant threat in Türkiye, as in many countries. The conference aims to ensure cooperation between decision-makers, experts and volunteers.
The conference, which will be held on October 18-19 with presentations and discussions, will feature fieldwork in the Mogan Lake Key Biodiversity Area on the last day.
