Turkey’s “Bird Call” is released!

Doğa released a new bulletin on bird watching, conservation and art inspired by birds. “Kuş Sesi”, meaning “Bird Call” in English, will be released three times in a year and will be available online and as free hard copies in limited numbers.

First issue includes an article by Richard Porter on 1960’s of Anatolia and the very beginning of birding in Turkey. “Kus Sesi” also includes stories of first breeding records of Scopoli’s Shearwater and White-eared Bulbul in Turkey and also Egyptian vulture migration. The bulletin is published with voluntary support and open to contributions of the bird watching society around the world interested in Turkey’s birds. The bulletin is only in Turkish at this moment.
