Bu durum, ekosistemlerin \u00e7\u00f6kmesine, biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin azalmas\u0131na ve iklim krizinin etkilerinin daha da \u015fiddetlenmesine yol a\u00e7\u0131yor. Sulak alan kay\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck nedenleri aras\u0131nda barajlar, suyun tar\u0131msal ama\u00e7la a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kullan\u0131m\u0131 ve kontrols\u00fcz kentle\u015fme yer al\u0131yor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sulak alanlar biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlilik, iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011finin etkilerini azaltma, karbon depolama ve su d\u00f6ng\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirli\u011fi i\u00e7in kritik \u00f6neme sahip. D\u00fcnya y\u00fczeyinin yaln\u0131zca y\u00fczde 6\u2019s\u0131n\u0131 kaplayan sulak alanlar k\u00fcresel biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin y\u00fczde 40\u2019\u0131na ev sahipli\u011fi yap\u0131yor. Ancak sulak alanlar\u0131n kayb\u0131, iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011finin etkilerini daha da k\u00f6t\u00fcle\u015ftiriyor. D\u00fcnya genelinde sulak alanlar\u0131n y\u00fczde 35&#8217;i son 50 y\u0131lda yok oldu. Bu alanlar, sera gazlar\u0131n\u0131 emme kapasiteleriyle do\u011fal bir &#8220;iklim tamponu&#8221; g\u00f6revi g\u00f6r\u00fcrken, yok olduklar\u0131nda bu fayda tersine d\u00f6n\u00fcyor. Bu durum her ge\u00e7en g\u00fcn daha fazla t\u00fcr\u00fcn ya\u015fam alan\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti\u011fi anlam\u0131na da geliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sulak Alanlar Tehdit Alt\u0131nda&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her y\u0131l 2 \u015eubat&#8217;ta sulak alanlar\u0131n ya\u015fam\u0131 desteklemedeki hayati rol\u00fcne dikkat \u00e7ekmek i\u00e7in D\u00fcnya Sulak Alanlar G\u00fcn\u00fc kutlan\u0131yor. Ancak bu ekosistemler \u00e7e\u015fitli insan faaliyetlerinden dolay\u0131 tehdit alt\u0131nda. Sulak alanlar\u0131n yok olmas\u0131n\u0131n nedeni olarak iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi g\u00f6sterilse de tar\u0131m ve hayvanc\u0131l\u0131k, bu ekosistemlerin tahrip olmas\u0131na ve yaban hayat\u0131 i\u00e7in hayati \u00f6neme sahip ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131n\u0131n yok olmas\u0131na neden oluyor. Sulama ve baraj projeleri, sulak alanlara tatl\u0131 su giri\u015fini engelleyerek habitatlar\u0131n kurumas\u0131na yol a\u00e7\u0131yor. \u00d6zellikle bir\u00e7ok k\u0131y\u0131 sulak alan\u0131, yap\u0131la\u015fmaya yer a\u00e7mak amac\u0131yla kurutuluyor, dolduruluyor. Sulak alanlar, tar\u0131msal, end\u00fcstriyel at\u0131klar veya kanalizasyon de\u015farj\u0131ndan kaynaklanabilen y\u00fcksek d\u00fczeyde kirlili\u011fe maruz kal\u0131yor. S\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclemez bal\u0131k\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k uygulamalar\u0131, sulak alan ekosistemlerinin ve bu ekosistemlere ba\u011fl\u0131 t\u00fcrlerin sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00fczerinde ciddi olumsuz etkiler yarat\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sulak Alanlar\u0131 Restore Etme Zaman\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 \u015eubat D\u00fcnya Sulak Alanlar G\u00fcn\u00fc\u2019nde konu ile ilgili a\u00e7\u0131klama yapan Do\u011fa Derne\u011fi Y\u00f6netim Kurulu Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Dicle Tuba K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 &#8220;Sulak alanlar, ta\u015fk\u0131n suyunu depolayarak erozyonu kontrol etme, su kalitesini iyile\u015ftirme ve biyolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fi destekleme gibi bir\u00e7ok kritik i\u015flevi yerine getiriyor. Bu ekosistemler, hem insanlar hem de yaban hayat\u0131 i\u00e7in ya\u015fam alanlar\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor. Ancak sulak alanlar\u0131n kayb\u0131 k\u00fcresel \u00f6l\u00e7ekte ciddi boyutlara ula\u015ft\u0131. Anadolu\u2019daki sulak alan ekosistemleri ise, eski tar\u0131m ve su politikalar\u0131n\u0131n sonucunda h\u0131zla yok oluyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K\u00fcresel bir perspektiften bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, sulak alanlar\u0131n korunmas\u0131 ve restorasyonu i\u00e7in acil ve etkili ad\u0131mlar at\u0131lmas\u0131 gerekiyor. Do\u011fan\u0131n restorasyonu ve korunmas\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 2024&#8217;te Avrupa Birli\u011fi&#8217;nde Do\u011fa Restorasyonu Yasas\u0131 ile yasalla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de bu konudaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yeni ba\u015fl\u0131yor. S\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 say\u0131da ve s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 imkanlarla ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen restorasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 i\u00e7in sivil toplum, akademi ve karar verici kurumlar\u0131n daha fazla i\u015fbirli\u011fi yapmas\u0131 gerekiyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do\u011fa Derne\u011fi bu y\u0131lki 22.
